Honeyfund

Won

My heart was out there
flapping in the wind
like a flag from some nation
no longer united
— divided in two.

You pulled me down to Earth
lovingly saying, “Yes!
You have lost, but…
we WON each other!”

Will, The Groom

Let us be us

I will be me,
And you can be you.
We don’t need permission to dive.
There are no judges waiting to give us scores,
And we don’t need the perfect bathing suits.
There’s no one to stop us but ourselves.

We decide what’s next.

Amy, The Bride

“We find a mighty drive in the animal kingdom that’s independent of sense organs. If one brings a foreign pair of butterflies to Germany and releases the male in Frankfurt and the female say in Magdeburg, the two will reunite without fail. They do this with special organs that are even finer than sense organs.

If we meet a total stranger whom we feel a great sympathy for, as happens between man and wife and also between friends, then this is a sign that these people belong together and that they have soul organs that tell them this and bring them together.”

Dr. Rudolf Steiner, Anthroposophist

Location

We are located off the beaten path in the rural village of Bowdoinham. Our home, affectionately named “Soul Haven,” is nestled among woods, meadows, and the Abagadasette River. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Semi-formal, cocktail attire, or dressy casual is appropriate. Sensible shoes are suggested since the wedding will be outside on our lawn.
